traded in my Breitling Superocean for a Speedy 3573.50 Saphire Sandwich from 2007. Have I done the right thing or should I have bought a newer 3570.50? I researched the subject for as long as I could before taking the plunge and decided that I would get the dearer but older watch.

 

If you really like the Speedy then you have done the right thing. Anywhere from the late '50s to 2017 is a good vintage...

 

Personal choice on the Sapphire Sandwich vs regular Hesalite. There are pros and cons to both, so enjoy it! Its a great watch!

 

I went with the Hesalite version and I'm very happy, but I have to admit I get a tiny pang of jealousy every time I see a photo of that sapphire caseback.

You can't go wrong with any of the Speedy Pros - congrats and enjoy
