Anyone a follower of these pieces, a sheltered upbringing means I know less than nothing about them but with these images I can see an attraction -

Have the Monaco WW2110.FC6177 on black leather. Great watch with crystal case back. Not as big as one you have pictured

So that's how the digital trickery works
Some nice looking watches sure are wasted without a mechanical movement.
MY APOLOGIES to all who collect/ own or covet quartz pieces, each to there own

Yeah, that's one I'll be hearing about for decades even though I only owned it for 24 hours. :p

Dennis tells the story better, or you could search for the thread ;) Long story short he bought a Reverso and it didn't "wind" the way he was expecting :D

    24 hours, 14 years - what's the difference?

I even posted a picture of my 'lectric watch here, although talking to an ex Breitling watchmaker last night, he said that mine had the only quartz movement that he would even consider owning. Retrospectively, he might have been damning it by feint praise

I thought it interesting that he said that if I ever took it apart, that I should start the chronograph after removing the battery because that part is mechanical and the springs would send the pieces flying if I tried removing anything without releasing the pressure.

Hi- that is not a photo of a genuine Monaco 69- its a replica.

Monaco 69 has two movements- manual wind mechanical movement and the digital movement,
