The most amazing thing is that it was on C24!

I have been so rude about that place.

I will have to eat my hat....

And white gold version didn't appear until 1994.....

And deep from the bowels of the IPAD i found a photo. Two 1994 18kt White Speedmasters, one on the rare bracelet, the other with a lovely dial fade.:

Some clever person in the past has wrapped the bottom of mine in sticky tape and it has yellowed with age🙁 Hey Incabloc if you ever have a lapse of sanity and decide to sell yours I would appreciate if you would give me a shout. For reasons that will be come obvious shortly😉

Another potential incoming of a very nice Speedy from C24 for another OF member could be in the works as well... guess I have to spend more time going through that virtual minefield.

Sorry to be a pain, but it did... and one of the rarest speedies it is - the BC 345.0802 from 1980 with the 861L movement. The first white gold and the first with display caseback - along with the yellow gold version (which is more "common"). Only seen one or two for sale in many years. Like this below. The 69 Apollo gold one is to die for, but this is to kill for::stirthepot::

Ha!
I must start adding "to the best of my knowledge!" Which once again is expanded.
I never heard of the white gold one before.
