Got on Ebay £480 there is a 14 day return. Just emailed seller for possible pick up as they live 15 miles away. Will take to omega retail London flagship store where watchmaker can verify dial original, hands movement etc... of course will post more pics soon.

If all is well it will keep my 1962 Seamaster company. The Seamaster has a very clean body and movement. However the dial is ok but not perfect.

This is a pic of Seamaster dial in mean time.

    Thanks guys.

I'm not so sure that an Omega retail store will be of much use for authentication. You might be better off posting a few more clear shots here.

The Seamaster is all original and checked out. At least the dial is not refinished. Lol

I will post pics here as well. The store has a watchmaker on the premises upstairs who can open it up. But it is true the Omega of new is not the Omega of old.

Will get pics tonight or tomorrow when the seller gets home and takes more detailed and close up shots. There is a 14 day return policy. Will post on here later and pick up watch tomorrow. From movement pic looks like 565 movement, the caseback is important as well. He claims original non refurbished dial.

    Let's see.

Thanks for all your help and advise everyone.

Just noticed and seller confirms that W in swiss is slightly faded? Could this be a big issue? Is it still desirable? The seller confirms same as in pic, it has faded out the W a bit. Is this normal

What do you think guys? Is it genuine? I am a novice, with my basic knoIedge think it is ok. The Swiss Made got me, after looking at Google images I think ok just faded for some reason. The lettering is even

Would appreciate when humanly possible feedback.

    Thanks again.
