Swapping three watches for one..What would be your choice?

I'd keep the Breitling and swap the Speedy and the Sub date for a Sub 5512 gilt. This way you would have a badass chrono and a badass diver.

I agree with this as a goal watch. However, the Speedy and the Sub would only buy you about half of a decent gilt 5512 in the current market. Add in the Breitling, and you're still not quite there. Maybe you could get a decent gilt 5513 for all three.

Prices on gilt 5512 can vary greatly, but you're right, the average market price of those has definitely skyrocketed. You'd have to get lucky. A nice 5113 would certainly be a good alternative.

I would LOVE to add a gilt 5512/5513 to my collection, but I tend to think these have reached bubble territory. Even the 5512 examples I'm seeing in the $30k-$40k range are not appealing to me these days, and I'm leery of paying more than that. And when I think about the manufacturing numbers of the 5513 Sub, the current prices really concern me.
