Ok, I will take the heat for being a dimwit here but can someone point me to directions regarding removing the bracelet? I can't seem to get the spring bars depressed enough to release the end links....

If it's your first time, it might help to get an assistant. You'll need to depress one side of the spring bar in while the bracelet is being slightly pulled away from the case. Depress the other side and it'll slide off. It is possible to do it yourself once you get the hang of it. And it is preferred to push the endlink towards the bottom side (pushing it in from the front) to minimize the scratches on the inside of the lugs as opposed to downwards from the case.

Either that or find a pair of that tweezer-style spring bar tool.

Highly recommend take it to the dealer. You do not want to slip and streak lol. No you don’t.

Best tool for OMega bracelet spring removal is the BERGEON 6767-F

Thanks all - took it to the dealer as I had another watch to drop off anyway for servicing.

Googled the BERGEON 6767-F and the micro fork looks a lot like the tool provided by Omega. Is there something special about the BERGEON 6767-F that makes it a better tool?

It's just the tool me and many other watchmakers use as its a good length and design,
the OMEGA one is a shorter design and not as good IMO

Seconded on the 6767-F. If you have an older watch to practice on first, that would help. I practiced taking off and putting back on the steel bracelet on my old Tag 2000 series chrono, so I won't be scared to do it on my Omegas.
