This little watch caught my eye because it looked like the ugly duckling of the fairy tale. Maybe, I said to myself, I can turn it into a swan. So, after an accurate cleaning, the dial recovered most of its shine. The movement has been very ill-treated in the past, but with a little good will and a lot of skill of my watchmaker, it started to march again with precision. It may not have become a swan, but it is certainly still a beautiful duck. Before and after the cleaning Finally on my wrist
Fabulous outcome! Great strap choice too. I really like the sub second watches, and really like this one. Because this is OF, what does a dial cleaning tend to go for?
Even though it doesn't look like, the dial was almost illegible before cleaning. Certainly some of these and a sort of oil I don't remember.
