Suspicious Lume?

Hello all!

New member and vintage watch fan. I am searching for an early 80's Speedmaster, and have found a potential candidate on eBay sold by Closer0924 (who seems legit based on my research).

The only hesitation I have with this particular example is the lume on the markers looks different close up when compared to others I've seen. It appears more "spongy" and flat, whereas the markers on others I've seen look more rounded and solid. I'm sure there is a certain amount of variability based on any number of factors, so I wanted to have more experienced/knowledgeable opinions on the matter before determining what to do.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I think lume looks ok. Bracelet may be original 1171/633 which would be a plus.

Excellent! I very much appreciate your thoughts. Am definitely hoping the bracelet is original, or at least period appropriate. I will attach a photo that may give enough detail to help.

What is inside caseback info? Serial number in correct range? Bracelet looks good and quite long.
See what others think about the lume.

I cross referenced the movement number with the ilovemyspeedmaster database, and it indicates 1981. Will add photo of the caseback as well. Looked ok to me. Fingers crossed there is nothing fishy. Always promised myself a vintage moonwatch to celebrate making partner at my orthopedic practice. That happened a year ago, and I'm finally getting around to it.

Nice congrats. CRS on caseback is Charles R Spillmann SA, that made cases for Omega in 80's. Not sure exactly when they started but they are mentioned in MWO book page 335.

Thanks for all of the information. There is so much to learn, and I am looking forward to the journey. MWO book now added to the Christmas list.
