Suspected case and crystal damage during service… what would you do?

I will say this, many people might have a small accident with the watch unboxing it, or possibly a customs/postal service inspector scratches it, then it gets blamed on the watchmaker. It's a hard thing to know for sure on an internet forum.

FWIW, I don't see anything that is concerning on that dial besides perhaps a piece of cotton fluff on the Omega logo(I cant imagine that is a scratch?). It looks original to me.

Agreed, I think the forum has done its best based on hearing one side of the story. Ultimately, the OP will have to work things out with the watchmaker. Hopefully he will be happy with the outcome.

I've had some watches that were damaged during my ownership, one way or another, and in most cases I was never happy with the watch again because I always unconsciously compared it to the previous condition.
