Hello everyone.
Sorry, I'm a noob here and I need help to surprise my husband.

This 3590.50/ST145.022 is graded as "fair" but it seems like a "good" to me.
It doesn't come with any papers or box, watch only for about $4000usd from Japan.

The serial number begins with 45581xxx

Just need some input as to whether that price of with it and does it seem like the parts are original?

Thank you so much in advance 😀

Looking for an exact year or a range that would be acceptable? Manufactured 82ish but there can be time before assembled and sold.
I'm not a Speedy guy, so I won't try to guess condition, others more knowledgeable will be along. I just wanted to mention "grading" is different for Museum pieces, auctions, avid collectors, horologists and history buffs than for some.
Regular folks looking for a wearable piece can measure or "grade" the watch by mechanical condition for use, heart rate while gazing and the number of goosebumps while wearing.
What is most important to you?

Remember to factor in a service by an Omega qualified watchmaker before wearing.

I'm looking for a 1984 and from what I've seen and been told it's 4500xxxx is for that year? I have looked at ilovemyspeedmaster.com and it says in the 4639 range, but I cannot find any it those numbers and have decided to settle with the 4500s.

As for the grading, it's the chrono24 condition.

I'm looking for someone that's not too beat up and on great working condition as my husband is a watch guy haha

Photos are overexposed, but nonetheless it looks in pretty good condition. Dial and hands look good with nice tritium yellow lume color. Bezel looks good. Bracelet is not complete- missing a few links- if your husband has large wrist may need to source extra link or 2- but thats not a big deal. Missing black infill on text on back is also not big deal, that can be done at service he can decide. Service will cost somewhere around $600 plus parts if needed.
I'm not really up on prices for this era Speedmaster- but I would think 3500-4000 is reasonable range. Others may add their opinion.
Overall nice 80's Speedmaster and I would say close enough for birth year.

Thank you so much for the input! I feel like I might be pulling the trigger! Just checking with the seller if they have any extra links (just in case!) and hoping they have an Omega box to ship with... Or I'll have to source one. The gift seems incomplete without a box 😅
