·I prefer lithotripsy to any other type of intervention, or to a “natural” solution to the problem. But even that is not pleasant!

Those bastards hurt. Rolled around on the ER floor for a while. Finally got a pain shot. Must have passed at some point, didn’t hurt anymore after the dope wore off.

I had to wait 10 days between my ER visit and the surgery. They finally removed the stone 4 days ago. Up until then, legal prescription narcotics had been my best friend.

Actually, I never saw the stone nor did I want to see that little fu—er. The procedure was done under general anesthesia (thank God). But here’s some alternative proof for you.
you can get that form off the internet, I am still not convinced. (Ha ha disclaimer so you know I ain’t serious)
I only see that you can take a shower.

For the record, my female patients who have had stones and have also delivered babies say the stones are worse
Being male I can’t compare the pain to childbirth, but I have had acute appendicitis requiring emergency surgery and the pain from the kidney stone was every bit as bad if not worse.
