Hello,

I just purchased this 6694 which is supposedly from 1974. I haven not been able to find any other examples online that have all identical dial markers similar to this one. I know its hard to tell without a movement shot, but does this appear authentic?

Really hard to say from those pictures if the dial’s been refinished or not, but everything else looks good to me. Even the four in the date seems to say original date we all. Bracelet looks good, again hard to see in the pictures for sure but it looks good. End links are correct. Enjoy, nice little hand wound Rolex!

Begin by taking the bracelet off and look for the serial #, at the 6 o'clock, to verify the year of production..

Does is say "T SWISS T" at the bottom of the dial? Is there any lume on the dial or the hands?

It’s unusual for a 6694 Dial to be so degraded……I have three, and they are all perfect

I think I can see the left side of T SWISS T… but no lume dots on the indexes ?

Bracelet and end links are correct

However the case, and particularly the bracelet, look well polished

Examples of 2 x 6694 dials, and a movement image

I think your photography would make any watch look amazing. 😀
