Hi Omega community,

I am interested in an Omega watch from 1974 with box and papers.
Iniitally looking at the Speedmaster Moonwatch, however I am struggling to find a good example.
Open to other styles of watch, e.g. chronograph but not really 'dress watches'.
If you know of any or are looking to sell from your personal collection please contact me.
Thank you for your time.
Dee.

Serial number between 38,000,000 - 38,999,999.

You really need to post this in the Wanted To Buy section.

welcome @Dee_Omega_1974

Firstly, for 'normal' Omega watches the movt production date for 1974 ranges from approx last quarter 37m - third quarter 38m.
But speedmasters don't follow this rule and have their own serial numbers range.
Plus, movt production date and sales date are often very different (by years in some cases)

Secondly, as @JimInOz is trying to politely imply, you need 200 posts to post a want to buy request - if only you had said
"I'm looking for a 1974 Speedmaster, (preferably with box and papers) could anyone advise what serial range I should be looking for?"

(hint, there is an edit button)

hope that helps
