Wandering the campus i feel very clever. I never went to University, and I am happy to be able to make sure my children can. This is my wife's speedmaster, rejected by her for the weekend, (in favour of a faded to mottled green BS submariner). I found it two(?) years ago and fully serviced it. She even wore it in the shower. Slightly brown dial. It is a nice watch. She has worn it most days since I gave it to her, and it's held up pretty well. Mind you she could probably be back up for the NASA tests for watches. It has acquired some hessalite scratches but not much else. Notice I didn't give her a valuable bezel.
You would only get me yelling "You can take it to space but not the shower!" And the reply "Well that's just silly...."
I'd take that Sub any day and twice on Sunday. As a matter of fact, those 40 mm Oyster cases fit me like they're bespoke. I can get a no-date and that covers my allergy to Rolex warts, so now all I need to do is get Rolex to replace that stinkin' Mercedes hour hand with another pencil shaped hour hand and I'd have my perfect dive watch.
slightly brown! Think its going nutella. Fantastic sub as well. Cool that you can swap watches with the misses.
