After a long hard road my wife is getting her masters in Public Health this May. She has won awards for some of her accomplishment and on track to graduate with a 4.0. I told her I wanted to buy her a gift to commemorate the occasion and she said she wanted me to get her a watch.
She wants something with a black dial, stainless steel, bracelet and less than 34mm with 28 preferred size. Black is just a preference, not a requirement however stainless steel and bracelet are. She also stated that while she doesn't care about movement she would rather it be quartz.
I'm leaning towards getting her the ladies Seamaster quartz stainless with the bond bracelet. What do you think?

Does anybody have any idea or suggestions?

I'd like to keep the price <2k as I can't spend more than that on a quartz watch;)...way less if possible.

Omega 2284.50 and I think 28mm. These seem to be around $1000.00 or under used.

That Aqua terra is nice - dressier than the seamaster without being too dressy for daily wear. Definitely would get my vote given the requirements.

Hmm any interesting pulsation dials under 2k?

I know public health is not dealing with people, but still neat and related.
