Hi all, does anyone have any tips on good watchmakers in Singapore that can be trusted to service vintage watches?

I recently gave my Speedmaster to JW Horological Gallery and the turn around time they quoted me was 6 months. I know JW has a long history and good reputation in Singapore so I'm sure demand for their services is high but is this sort of turnaround reasonable for an 861?

Regardless, I'm hoping someone can recommend some reliable and trustworthy alternatives that won't leave me without my speedy until Xmas! :(

I was looking for somewhere last year but ended up getting them done in Europe. Here are a few links for places I was looking at maybe you can phone a few of them?

You could always try asking on one of the Singapore watch forums. Here's one.

I am not recommending any of the above, it was just what I found whilst searching.
The only watch I have had serviced in Singapore was a Tag Kirium that was well battered. I took it to Tag and they did a really good job, I was surprised how good it was. It did cost S$600, probably more than it was worth, but it was worth it to me to get it looking new again.
Perhaps some of the Singapore guys on here can give you some better advice.

HJ watch say on their website a service will only take a week. Not sure if they only do Rolex or not?

Thanks guys, appreciate the responses. I'm familiar with most of these names but just don't know about their skill and ethics when it comes to servicing. Hoping to get some solid recommendation based on experience.

Bonfield changed dials and hands for me - no issues, but pricey. Will take my 69ST to him for service amd not worry.
