Some of you may recall that I had changed the hands on my 1997 "Speedmaster 57 Replica" along with the bezel. More recently, I put leaf hands on instead of white stick hands. See picture below.

I'm sending some watches to the watchmaker who originally changed the hands and inadvertently kept the originals.

So here's the question. I currently have the white stick hands on all three registers. The FOIS, which this watch sort fo resembles, has the silver hand on the small seconds, which my watchmaker has and can swap.

So assuming I have an homage to a year other than 1957... change that sub seconds hand? Leave it? Change them all to silver?

    Thanks

    Tom

Try changing them all to silver, see what you think. I kind of like that look and would love to see photos of one with the main alpha hands. Just a thought.

I like it as it is now. Where did you get the Alpha hands? I have a similar project in the pipeline and these hands would be ideal.

FOIS hands from Otto Frei. I'm tempted to leave it, too.

Thanks, I'll try to see if they're still available.
