Hi OF
I’ve been offered a few dials and a Brevet crown. Not been given the price yet but just after a little insight. Matt dials, guessing 5513? No idea as to wether they’ve been refinished in any way or infact service dials? Any advise would be greatly appreciated as woukd a rough price indication.
Regards
Adam

I'd like to hear experts chime in about those dials. I'll make some non-expert comments about the first three dials

- The first one could be for a 16800, because it says 1000ft but doesn't have metal surrounds around the lume plots.

- The second one just looks bad to me. I don't like the way the lume plots attach to the minute track lines like lollipops. It's pretending to be a 5513 maxi dial, but I don't think it's right.

- The third one could be a later 5513 dial, e.g. from the mid-to-late 1980s.

Agreed a minefield.

Not helped by some fairly poor photos. I certainly wouldn’t be buying these based on the photographic evidence.

The second one is especially bad. I can’t work out if it’s shadow at 6 o’clock that makes the minute markers appear to be further in than the rest or if it’s a bad replica. The lollipop effect adds to that doubt, as does the Swiss T >25 being so close to the 28 & 32 minute markers. Might be I’m looking on an iPad though.

The third is from a late model 5513 just before it was replaced by the 14060. I don’t know how rare this version maybe.

Have you looked or asked on TRF?

Shocking pictures I know. I think I may just skip on these, too many ifs and buts. Been offered a few Daytona dials too.

Good to see the Seller takes precautions when handling the SeaDweller dial...
