Does anyone know if this Seamaster should have subsecond
Don’t have image of movement but isn’t this configuration unusual?
Any thoughts appreciated

Not really an unusual combination, no. It's a 2846/2848 where one of the numbers are the sub-second version cal. 490/491) and the other the central seconds version (cal 500/501). Probably fifty-fifty or forty-sixty of either type and produced in the hundreds of thousands if I were to make an estimate.

This one has been redialed.
