That asking price is the most stunning part.

 

It's not a Soccer timer, it's a dual time zone rotating pilot bezel dial that is grossly over-priced

 

Roulette bezel soccer timer, right?

 

Not a soccer timer, but basically a chronograph with time zone bezel. In the above iteration it could be called a pilots watch. This model also came with rotating diver or rotating regatta bezel, so with the regatta bezel it would be better known as a yachting piece. Not a soccer ball in sight. I wouldn't even call it a roulette bezel, as roulette is black and read with random numbers, but at first glance I concede it may look like it.

 

And the 45 minute counter has what relevance to a pilot's watch??

 

I understand we were talking about nomenclature as opposed to multi-functions. Omega called this iteration a "Seamaster Chronograph Pilot". But I notice almost with every 45 minute timing function chronograph people call them soccer timers even if that is a minor function of the tool watch.

There's actually no official designation to soccer on this watch, but like Desmond said, official designation depends on the bezel: Diver, Yachting or Pilot.

Great looking watch! But for that price I would have bought another vintage Omega.
