Thanks for posting that! Makes me a little sad, not being able to go this year, and at the same time it brings back some nice memories. Those Goodwood events, especially the Members Meeting and the Revival, are really something else...

Growing up nearby, I remember the early days of the Festival of Speed etc. when my Dad and I would cycle up mid afternoon and nab a ticket from people leaving early to blag re-entry.

Obviously the popularity of these events took off and I spent my summers home from university working in the hospitality areas of various Goodwood motorsport events. Used to get great access to all sorts of areas - only issue was hearing the punters’ orders...

I tuned in late this rainy afternoon here in the states and saw the Stirling Moss Trophy race ( formerly Kinrara) . An epic battle at the finish with two E-types as dusk descended. Fantastic, close racing with glowing brake rotors were a treat to see. More tomorrow!
