I designed these based on old automotive tool rolls. I first made one for myself, and I liked it so much that I decided to make two more.

I am offering two of the three pictured here. Update: Brown roll with shiny rivets sold to @amcclell

The brown leather is softer and more supple and better than the natural leather version. I used solid brass buckles and a ton of rivets. The leather is new. I did most of the Sewing with my old Adler 30 machine. There are five straps hanging down to secure your watches, but you can certainly put more, or have some spring bar tools in the adjustable slots.

Measurements are the same for all three and illustrated in one of the photos.

I am asking US $195 plus shipping and will only sell two. (Watches and tools not included).

As I wrote above, the brown ones are better, although the natural leather version, which I burnished to resemble wood, will likely soften up and age in its own unique way. You may notice the different buckles on the two brown versions. One is a brand new buckle while the other is very old and taken from horse tack.

Adding to this original post so as to not un-necessarily bump it. Three more pouches. I call these Walrus pouches. I made one for @Walrus last year and he shows it to the forum regularly. This batch of three is as follows: 1 smooth brown leather with gold stitching. Soft and thick. 1 grey leather with silver stitching. Not as thick as the brown. 1 grey suede (update: suede one is sold). This one is thinner. Asking US $45 each plus shipping.

I made a strap from a 1960s baseball glove. I used new leather for the lining. Lugs 19mm tapered to 16mm. US $50 (price kept low because I am an amateur, and don’t expect perfection). Watch roll completed. 13 inches wide. Holds my 42 mm Bulova Mil-Ships with ease. Buttery smooth leather with green stitching.

Just completed on August 15th. From a 1960s baseball glove. I used the palm piece and this one is super soft. It is so soft in fact that I did not stitch it. I used new leather underneath but chose to simply join the leather for the buckle piece. I used a polyurethane to hold things together.

Extreme taper 20 mm to 14 mm! This may be a chance for you to use that nice 14 mm buckle on a larger watch.

I really like this one and would normally keep it for myself but I have dumped most of my watches.

Update. Baseball glove strap sold to Canadian Watch Collector.

Just completed today (August 30th). Four watch watch roll. The leather looks nice with its pebbled texture. I bought this double shoulder leather in May and the look of this pouch is superb. Looks well aged. From a leatherworker’s perspective, however, it has an unusual feel. It is not as smooth and stretchy as my previous rolls. The plus was the ease of stitching. All done by hand. US $100. We can discuss shipping. Roll is 13 inches wide and will accommodate most watch sizes as shown in my pics. Watches not included. I use Paypal, have references if you need to see them. I will repair or remake anything that is not to your satisfaction.

Baseball glove strap completed on September 2nd. 20 mm lugs tapered to 18. SS buckle included. Long piece is 120 mm. Buckle piece is 75 mm. Super soft and floppy. Lined with suede.

I started with this old glove. I gave it a shine with brown polish and some beeswax and found some faint markings. End result, not perfect but so smooth.
$55 US with shipping to be discussed. Paypal works for me. Return or redo if necessary to make sure you are pleased.

I made this one with a newer baseball glove that I found at a yard sale. The leather seems nice for a newer glove.

Baseball Glove strap (photos below) completed Sept 7th. From the same glove as the « COOPER » strap above, but with smaller markings.

18mm tapered to 16mm. Used buckle pictured is included. Minimal stitching on this one. In one of the photos I have used 3 awls to show marks in the leather. The holes are for the original leather lacing and the bottom of the long piece shows how the leather lacing was resting on that specific spot. Long piece is 120 mm. Buckle piece is about 77 mm.

This baseball glove leather improved even during the short time that I worked with it. It is supple and smooth. US $55 with shipping to be discussed.

This following strap completed Sept 10. Brand new leather will age nicely. Very close blue stitching really pops… like blue hands on a watch.

Completed today is a four-watch watch roll. The leather is beautiful. Not my best ever stitching job but once those needles go in, there’s no going back.

This watch roll is 12.5 inches wide. Comfortably holds four larger watches. The watches pictured (not included) are inside the roll when it is well … rolled.

I told my wife that I used her Louis Vuitton’s leather, to tease her. The leather here looks and feels like that.

Completed Sept 16th. Strap made from 2 Levis Jeans patches. These patches have been worn, washed and dried during their lifetime. I added 2 layers of new suede. 20 mm tapered to 18. Long piece is 120 mm and buckle piece is 75 mm. I made two of these a few years back. I kept one for my Tudor. Who does not wear jeans?

New strap completed on September 24th. From an old baseball glove. Stitched old school by hand with overstitch wheel and awl. Deep brown colour. 20/18 mm. 120 mm long piece with 75 mm buckle piece. This one was more work due to the very fine and tight stitching. US $65. Shipping to be discussed.

Latest strap completed on Sept 24th. I started with an old baseball glove. And I hand stitched with matching brown leather. Note how close together the stitches are. This allowed me to stitch across also, near the lugs. Super soft and floppy. 20/18 mm. 120 and 75 mm pieces. US $65 with shipping to be discussed. Watch roll still available (US $100 with more about it in previous post). And the Levis Jeans strap (same dimensions as my latest strap) still available. US $60.
Sept 28th addition. Just completed from the same baseball glove. This latest strap is 21mm tapered to 18mm. 120/75 mm pieces. US $60. Honey coloured stitching. Soft and floppy!

Completed October 21st. Two single watch pouches. The natural coloured one is the softest I have ever made. I call these Walrus pouches in honour of our own @Walrus but this one is so soft I may need to call it Marilyn Monroe!

The green one is suede from a pair of motorcycle chaps. It has an uneven finish in some spots but is also soft - but not as soft as the one above.

Both have gold stitching and I matched the inner pad. US $55 plus shipping. You can have both for $100. I use Paypal.
