Was this done with a marker pen, dye? It looks like a good match.
No. I removed the original stitching and re-stitched it with the orange thread.

Impressive, ... but beyond my skill set to copy that idea.

It's not that hard. As long as you can drive the thread through the needle you should be fine. The holes in the strap are already there for you.

Excellent work! Where did you acquire the orange stitch / what is the color code for it?

Keep in mind that the orange of the Ultraman is a very deep, almost reddish orange. Most orange stitching used for straps is a lighter orange.

I bought it from leatherwork supply store quite a while ago. Color code is unknown, it must have been on the packaging but it ended up in the bin. I tried to match the color to the Planet Ocean orange.

Yes, that's why I can only hope at this point that it will match. Will see when the Ultraman arrives. I'm not too worried though, most of my watches end up on a bracelet.😀

I’ve a snoopy strap too, which I wear on my speedy pro, not sure I’m confident enough to re-stich!

already bought and am using this :

and also ordered one of these:

I believe both will work. The first is soft rubber and is very comfortable. Second, a Di Modell soft leather Rallye GT is on the way. Pictures with watch later.

Did anyone try a Hirsch Robby on the Ultraman? Do you have a pic of this combo?

I've got that exact strap and I've got an ST2 but they won't match The orange is much brighter on the strap I love the look of this strap (I got it for my 1st gem PO) but I don't give it as much wrist time as the bracelet (again for my PO). Personally, I don't think it works with a Speedy

Here is a Japan Racing on the orange Hirsch Robby - the strap matches the JR well but it is quite different to Ultraman's ochre as shown on the 2nd photo.

My candidate is the strap that was made originally for my st1 but it works better with st2 in my opinion.

Sorry to wake an old thread but has anybody come across any other interesting Ultraman strap combos in the meantime?
