I do have an Omega Seamaster Professional Ceramic, which I bought new in August last year, I do like the bracelet, I even have the adjustable clasp on it, but I want something more comfortable for the summer, not to say that the metal bracelet is not comfortable, it just gets sticky, when you're sweating and adjusting the clasp doesn't help either.
So my main problem then is, that the strap should be water resistant, because I also swim with my watch, I basically do everything with it.
I quite like rubber straps and that's the kind of strap I would prefer, but I can't really find any rubber straps for the SMPc, I would like to get an OEM one.
Does the rubber strap of the newest 42mm SMP fit on the older ceramic one?
    That could be a contender.
Maybe you have some other ideas, you can tell me :)
    Thanks for all help!

I've had a lot of success at Watch Gecko. They sell a variety of straps there (to include rubber ones). Unfortunately, I have yet to officially own my first Omega (should be coming in next week), but you should be able to find something there.

I.Hrn, can I ask the width of your Seamaster bracelet that you have the adjustable clasp fitted to?
Is it something you fitted yourself and do you know the part number of it?

It is the 20mm one, you can just order them at the Omega Boutique or any other Omega retailer.
The cost is around 130$ and the part number is 117STZ001154.
Not a fan of Natos, I had an OEM Omega Nato and I did not wear it once and sold it a month ago.
I do not really like the fact, that you have to put the strap under the watch, which leads to extra bulk.

With Erika's Originals it is only one layer and hardly noticeable.
I am not a fan of NATO 's either. Tried them and its not for me. But Erika's Originals is a totally different cattle of fish. I have one on an Oris, my daily wearer and can highly recommend it. I swim, walk and work (carpenter) with it. Never to tight or to loose.

I'm a big fan of the coated nylon (Snoopy style) strap. Jean-Rousseau Paris will custom make them, and they are great for in the water or out. Seamaster300M.jpg

Like this you mean? Omega blue version of the Snoopy black sailcloth, they are leather lined so wasn't sure if they were water safe or not:

The blue sharkskin makes the watch look great, and they have other colors also, really worth looking into:

Cant go wrong with a two-stitch brown leather strap.

I bought mine from an AD for 230. I actually called Jean Rousseau and they wanted 275 for custom strap and 5 week turn around. It seems like their prices might have went up.

I already made a post 2 months ago, when i purchased a Hirsch Mariner in black.
Now that i wore the watch on Mariner for 2 months with big pleasure, i ordered another Hirsch Mariner in gold brown color.
It is also Water Resistant to 100m (whatever this is supposed to mean). i never really tested the watch on WR. but just love how comfortable the strap is. Lets see how this one will hold up :)

    I have
I have an Omega sharkskin on my diver chronograph and it looks great, but I don’t like it on my 2254 for some reason. Maybe the lack of thickness in the 2254 makes the strap look bulky.

Have switched my Seamaster onto NATO for the warmer months.
Just got these from Phenomenato (https://phenomenato.com). They're very comfortable and I'd recommend them as an alternative to the bracelet.

If you had an Omega NATO and never fitted it to the watch, how do you know if you would have liked it or not? just seems like an odd assertion if you didn't try the combo before selling it off.

NATO isn't for everyone, and in fact I prefer the bracelet, but it can be fun to swap an OMAGE branded NATO onto an SMP from time to time.

Hirsch Robby sailcloth/rubber are nicely-made, waterproof and durable, and the built-in channels work well in warmer weather.

Can also vouch for the Erika's Originals. Have 2 and love 'em, though the sliding clasp arrangement takes some getting used to.
