Hi!

I have a omega seamaster cal.1022 i presume is from 1970 or 1971. Sadly it dosent get alot of wrist time due to me finding the strap the last owner used it with ugly and I dont really like the original braclet either. The braclet is integrated on this model and finding strap options is hard. I would really like to put it on something like a nato, at least something made of fabric and not leather or metal. Do any of you have advice for where I can buy a strap and if its even possible to change straps on this model due to the integrated braclet.

If someone can tell me a bit about this model aswell or show me somewhere I can read up on its history that would also be really cool by the way.

I will post a few pics for you to see the way the braclet works.

Thank you!

I suspect you need to reach out to a custom strap maker for that....

Notched straps aren’t uncommon and you can buy a tool to do the notching yourself. Then you get bars with screwed on end caps.

Many high end jewelers will also do this for you.

Not directed at OP but 3 seconds with Google will get you this information and sources.

And yes, custom is an alternative.
