Hi! Got this today with this racing (dont think it is an Omega strap) and Omega buckle. I have huge wrist and this strap is to short. I have a box with a lot of old Omega straps and found this 20 mm. that fits perfect. Do any one know what it was sold with back then, found this essay that mention a tropic strap. http://www.deskdivers.com/Site/SMf300.html This essay mention that model without the integrated bracelet is rare, and have not found many of this model using google, is it uncommon? Here the Omega strap that seems to fit:
It will be a choice between authenticity and what looks good today. I too, have a big wrist and I find thin straps like the one above look awkward. Your f300 is a dive/tool watch and as such suggests ruggedness and durability. You need a strap that matches that characteristic. The SS mesh bracelet would be my choice. Your f300 has a Proplof look to it. I would look at examples of straps used on the Proplof. https://www.google.com/search?q=pro...=kQNTV7ioNYSpjwSxiI6QCQ#imgrc=wHheA3ZBNcnc8M:
My problem is huge wrist, around 21,5 cm. so i can only fit XL straps so it is hard to find a proper strap. I have seen these on mesh but like the black contrast.
I think I found the answer, pictures from AJTT and OVD confirm i uses the same style as the Omega strap i have put on now
