    A bit of a noob question, but how do I change the watch strap on a vintage Uni-compax? Obviously there aren’t pins like a typical watch.

    You may also have female bars. They are tricky ... Do a search here for how to work with them. Dre did a bit of a tutorial with pictures ....

    Yes, female spring bars I’m dealing with. I thought I was crazy for not understanding how to use them, greatful that there is a tutorial. Thanks!

    One other suggestion.. you need a thin blade on your spring bar tool. Place it firmly at the junction of case and bar, press in and pull back firmly. Best to use softer band materials.

    Female spring bars are a whole mess of trouble :p
