Thought it would be nice to have something other than the super thin 18mm alligator strap my 168.05 constellation came with.

i seen this but do not know if if it will fit? Or if it's bad choice in the opinion of the vintage experts here. If good choice...price reasonable?

I don't know know much about Omega's but I do know those BOR bracelets look sweeet on your style of Constellation. That's a good looking watch you have there. I also like that brick row looking bracelet as well...no idea what it's called. Sorry.

you should devote 5 or 20 minutes and peruse through the picture thread. That way you'll get multiple views, angles, lighting, etc., etc .

the ebay band that I posted a link to above says its from the '50's, but it will or will not fit my watch? The ebay band pics aren't very good and I know there are fakes.
is this authentic and is that the going price?

yes it will fit. I think it is authentic, however quite pricey. Omega are still producing new beads of rice braclets for ~$300, albeit the 7 row, rather than these nicer 5 row:

Doesn't look fake but are you sure your lugs are 18mm and not 19mm?

$300. is a high price. I have 2 of the older ones and
paid like $120-$150 for them.

 

Bracelet type in OPs listing is a bit too early for the dog leg case.

 

OZ......I believe it is 18mm ...best I could measure.

So does that mean it wouldn't fit properly X350?

 

I have a 168.005 connie and tried putting it on a BOR bracelet. To my eye, there is something a bit off about the combination. I think it has to do with the fact that the dog leg case has sharp, straight lines and flat surfaces, which conflicts with the curved and round design language of the BOR bracelet.

This is the "flat" bor but even then doesn't look right to me.
