    Hi,
    I am a newbie here.
I recently got a nice constellation pie pan from the 60’ (I’ll post pictures and a fuller story about how I got it when I get the watch back from the shop I put it in). I am looking to get a nice black leather strap for it. I can not afford an original one at the moment, and would really appreciate ideas where I should look for one. I am going to use the watch as my everyday watch, not as a dress watch.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Thank you kindly.
Will share pics when I have the watch with me. I’d love to find out more about the watch so when I get it back I’ll ask more questions here.

    Thanks!!!
That could be nice. I know very little about these watches. Would that be the original strap it came with? And where should I look for one? Any eBay recommended or other online store?

I would vote for a brown crocodile or lizard strap. A BOR bracelet is also very nice. One can have both.

I enjoyed my Conny with BoR most.
And it's a completely different look.

    Wow, stunning. Ok I’m convinced.
Now, the thing is I cant spend 400$ On original vintage bracelet. What would you guys recommend as a good aftermarket strap? I really have little experience so any name of maker/ online shop would be great!

thank you guys. Nice to find this place.

Or... a brown lizard strap: pretty comfortable and nice matching look to your vintage piepan!

    I’m happy with my combination

    A BOR doesn't cost 400. I sold mine for under 200.

    You could have gotten $400!

Hirsch straps are pretty darn good.

I believe Omegas at the time where all sold on a leather strap and bracelets were an optional additional purchase.

Yes, it is. Bought for 200€ from this forum's member.
Notice - vintage bracelets are light and make a rattle. But that's how they roll :)
