Still a Nazi for me.

Yes I'm Jewish so I'm perfectly aware of what the nazis were but the fact is many didn't get involved directly with murder like hitler.

Many were worse than him IMHO.

Let's get back to watches and inscriptions.
Yes please. The world’s already a mess, no sense bickering among friends.

😲😲😲

This one was a watch posted in the bargain thread....I can only imagine what elicited this inscription

It's the name of a Johnny Mathis tune thats referencing a future date that will never happen.

Yes but I think you missed the fact(and the point of the post) that 12th has been spelt incorrectly "Twelth"

I turn to the Urban Dictionary when in doubt

"Definition Little Hitler
A little hitler is a self-important tosspot who thinks he's in charge. Someone who makes up arbitrary and/or self-serving rules and has a tantrum if they aren't obeyed. They tend to have a park-keeper/traffic-warden mentality; rules are Law and rules come first. They can't handle people who threaten their authority.
Wayne's running a tournament..
Wayne: You didn't spell the name right, Jim. You're out.
Baz: That's unfair, Wayne. You know what he meant.
Wayne: You're out too!
Baz: Ya stupid little hitler."

Perhaps the watch was presented to a "self-important tosspot" of a boss by his/her employees as a joke at the office Christmas Party. They were all subsequently fired the next day.

I can't beat "fυck'em if they can't take a joke", but I did find these celebrity watch inscriptions cool. First is from Joanne Woodward to her husband Paul Newman and the second is an inscription by Steve McQueen who gave his personal Rolex Sub to his favorite stuntman.
When I was growing up it was not uncommon to hear of an over officious jobsworth being described as "little Hitler". It had no more meaning than a kind of tin pot dictator and certainly no derogatory intention as regards to nazi atrocities.
