    A) it costs more (takes more time) to make a column wheel movement vs cam. B) Omega is only having one watchmaker make the watch from start to finish, per watch, so that's going to increase the cost C) because they will only have a few watchmakers making the 321 watches, there will be fewer made vs the 1861 / 3861.

    Isn't it one watchmaker per movement, not per watch. And they are really assembling, not making.

    My watchmaker does this quite quickly, all the time. I am certain his family would apprecitate the $ABCD premium he could make on every assembly (after service)...
