    The title says it all.

I traded my Omega CK-2998 LE #911 to my local watchmaker last year, who was thinking about keeping it for himself but had it in his display case to see if anyone would bite. I was asking about the watch today while getting an insurance appraisal on my recent 3570.50 acquisition, whether it might be available to trade back (although it wears a little small) when I learned this information.

Recently his store, Tick Tock Shop, in Colorado Springs Colorado was cased and broken into, with the thief coming in via a roof vent in the ceiling, and this watch was stolen. They have video of the suspect casing the place and breaking in later, and police are trying to find him.

But we wanted to get the word out in the forums that this watch was stolen and ask that if you see this watch listed for sale to alert the authorities, myself via PM, or my watchmaker Jonathan at 719-475-8585.

Again, it's an Omega Speedmaster CK-2998 LE, model number 31133403002001, Serial Number 78731821, and LE number 911/2998 (originally sold on 9/11/16, so the LE number matching the date was very cool). I believe the thief did not get the paperwork or box with the watch, but neglected to confirm. I also neglected to confirm if it was on blue leather or the 1171 styled 19mm steel bracelet.

Can we make this sticky? Mods feel free to ask me to edit this if it's too long as a sticky.

Good luck. I hope you find your watch. Sucks that people do these things...

Thanks. Not technically mine anymore, although I was the original owner buying from the Denver OB, and I was thinking about trading back for the watch today. I had 1st dibs on buying it back, and was very sad to discover that it had just been stolen from the store in the break-in.

It looks like the thief targeted the Watch/Clock shop specifically for this watch, casing the shop a week before the break-in though the ceiling. He made it in and out of a small 12"x12" opening!
