Just read this thread for the first time. You absolutely did the right thing. Some people die or get injured for life fighting (stupidly) to defend property. The number one advice professionals give to people who get attacked by robbers is: give whatever they want without resistance and make sure they leave you alone as soon as possible.
Your life is worth so much more than a watch.
Be glad you can enjoy the sound of the birds chirping in the trees and enjoy the people you love . The rest.... is only money.
Best regards

Well said, I couldn't agree more!

Stay safe.

A little nudge (bump!) to the top... still searching & hoping this appears one day!

If anyone ever comes across 65/2012, please let me know!

Thanks all!

I always leave the nice watches at home when my travel involves any urban areas. No thieves have shown any interest in my quartz Swiss Army watch.

Reading stuff like this makes me anxious, especially in London! As a young lad going out in Manchester I’m sometimes hesitant to wear my Moonwatch but I’ve made sure my insurance policy covers theft.

I hope this shows up one day for you, so unfortunate.

Looks like it's number 1447 maybe, from what I can make out.

I got excited hoping I'd find my own stolen Speedy Tuesday, number 103 but no joy :/

Here's hoping both of us get our watches back someday.

I hope so too! I keep looking so I will let you know if I ever spot 103!

All - we're looking for Nos. 65 & 103 if anyone is reading this thread.

All the best.
