For sale (Was $8,350 USD, Now $8,000) is my 2017 Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday Limited edition reference 311.32.42.30.01.001 cal. 1861. Limited Edition #3XX/2012. Includes full kit (box, watch roll, instructions, stamped/dated cards, polishing cloth, certificate of authenticity, tool, stickers, coffin box, nato and leather straps).

Condition

Watch is in excellent condition. The movement winds and sets as it should and the chronograph function starts and stops properly.

Issues

• There are some minor marks on the case and marks on the underside of the lugs from strap changes.
• [EDIT JAN 3: SEE PICS IN SECOND POST - A fellow ST owner contacted me and said that the white residue is normal and per Omega is from a protective coating added at the factory, and wipes right off with a dry microfiber cloth. Sure enough, the strap now looks great!] The OEM leather strap, which I have never worn other than the day I picked it up, is [EDIT: WAS] showing some discoloration. I don’t know how or why the color is turning whitish, but I noticed it when I took the packaging out for the first time in over 2 years to photograph for this sale. Maybe it is dry and needs to be oiled? Just a guess. [EDIT: RESIDUE IS GONE, NO LONGER AN ISSUE]
• There are some minor scuffs on the crystal that I didn’t notice until I looked at the photos. Polywatch could easily take these out but I’ll leave that to the buyer to do.

Provenance

I’m the original owner, I signed up that first day in January of 2017 and bought it from an Omega Boutique in August 2017. I wore it in rotation frequently the first year or so but have worn it less and less over the past year, thus I’m letting this go.

Comes with:

• Box
• Watch Roll
• Strap Changing Tool
• Polishing Cloth (unopened)
• Certificate of Authenticity
• Pictogram Card
• Warranty Card – stamped and dated by the Omega Boutique
• OEM leather strap/buckle (worn home from the Boutique and never refitted on the watch – showing discoloration)
• OEM nato strap – never worn/ unopened
• Plastic coffin
• All the stickers that came with the watch including matching serial and reference numbers. Although Omega did not give me the hang tag, the stickers that go on the tag are included.

Photos

All these pics are of the actual watch for sale, taken by me on December 24, 2019 in natural light with an iphone 11pro and no filter. I tried to describe the watch’s condition in as much detail as possible, but please review these photos carefully as they are part of the description.

Price

$8,000 US. NO TRADES PLEASE. Please contact me via pm with questions or offers. Price includes domestic shipping in the US.

Payment

Wire, Venmo, cash (watch and I are in the Chicago area), Paypal if you have references.

Buyer

I prefer selling domestically to keep things simple and the shipping affordable. I will sell internationally on a case-by-case basis (in other words, buyer needs solid recent references and must accept full customs declaration and cover extra shipping cost). Buyer must have solid references.

Returns

No returns unless watch is grossly misrepresented. Selling as-is, with no warranty (manufacturer warranty was 2 years and expired in August 2019). Although the watch is functioning properly and has never been opened, I make no guarantees to its water-resistance.

References

I’m an individual collector, not a dealer, and have no affiliation with Omega. I have been active on watch forums for over a decade and have numerous references as a buyer, trader, and seller. I have perfect eBay feedback, where I have also bought and sold several watches.

Update regarding the strap: A fellow ST owner contacted me and said that the white residue is normal and per Omega is from a protective coating added at the factory, and wipes right off with a dry microfiber cloth. I tried that and sure enough, the strap now looks great!

Above is a pic taken this morning after 30 seconds with a dry cloth. Looks much better now, but the pic was taken early in the morning and under a desk lamp. I'll add another pic under natural light if we get some (it is scarce in January) when I happen to be home.

I’ve seen this watch in person at a GTG with Andy. I can vouch for it being as described…meaning fantastic! Andy’s integrity as a seller and member of our collecting community is second to none. Buy with confidence.

Would be grabbing it myself…but already got one!
