Still my personal favorite Omega pic, circa 1999-2001.

Took this portrait of the pre-Broad Arrow Broad Arrow “Speedy ‘57” in my tiny kitchen in NYC, a lifetime ago.

Despite some legibility issues I had with it (the chrome hands kinda disappear at night), I still toy with the idea of picking up another, because it’s just so cool.

This ref, 3594.50 is one of the best value special edition Speedmasters on the market, they never went up in value much and were not made in big numbers.

I don’t know about “never went up in value”.
Ten years ago you could get one for $1500. Now they’re $4000.

Yea that’s still not much beyond just inflation, the Speedmaster is much more expensive watch now and they never took off like many limited editions of that era like the Apollo 11 35th, Gemini IV, etc

It's one of the best Speedmasters, Omega manufactured. Mine for sale here is at $4000 and I'm quite happy to keep it. It just wears like a Vintage one without any fear to ruin an expensive 321 Speedie ...

I can’t believe it either. Every time he bumps that listing I cry a little inside that I can’t buy it.
