Well, that is the best one I have ever seen, I don't think anyone could top that one.
Is there a interesting story attached to it? Dropped down the back of a cupboard when it was new?

Ironically the OMEGA red box from 1960 has not peeled or fallen apart like my OMEGA red box from 2007, they must have been a bit more sturdy back then lol

    Epic watch!

Nobody will EVER see a better DoN bezel or dial on a 2998.

That one is really incredible Mike!!
Running that one down is quite an accomplishment.
    Congratulations!
I just had a neat thought.
Imagine a collection of NOS Speedmasters from
    every reference. Can you imagine?

Makes it hard really, how do you top a NOS version of a very rare Speedmaster reference? I think there are at least half a dozen PN Daytonas on the Gold Coast here, I can't think of many 2998-1 owners at all, other than a handful of guys from this site, and this one is now the pick of the breed.
