路Like overly curled up post-it notes, they've fallen into the abyss (with all the other threads)! 馃槤
I noticed this too, and assumed the design team was experimenting... some of those stickies are IMO useful and should be there (especially the sales forum ones...)

Newbies don't always read the stickies, but at least it's easy to refer to them.

路Earlier this week, I was discussing the possibility of perhaps adding a sticky for Pocket Watches to the Open Discussion forum, with a number of like-minded PW enthusiasts. The stickies were there on Thursday, I noticed. Did some reggub (not an auto correct) leak my idea to the powers that be, resulting in a knee jerk reaction such as pulling all stickies? I hope not!
