Morning All(Sunshine in Dorset!!),

What cleaning/polishing cloth/product do you guys use on your Omega’s and other Timepieces? I’ve been using lens cleaning wipes on my Speedy and the shoulders don’t look as though they like it much?

cheers
Si

Old jocks mostly.

Err, except on any watch I sell, they have definitely not been wiped down with old undies. 😒

I just use a microfiber cleaning cloth made for glasses and such. Gets all the smudges off and leaves it shiny again.

I use a cheapo eyeglass cleaning cloth that came with a lesser watch, and sometimes a bit of warm water. Occasional sneers from the Speedy, but I ain't investing in a "specialized cleaning suite" for a tool watch (or any watch). No underwear yet, but there's time.

Soft and most importantly a clean microfiber cloth moistened with WristClean. It is a great product. For divers, you can spray it directly on the watch and wipe dry.

Ditto. Great stuff. Should be fine on a speedy as well, just don't spray it right in the crown.

Just a heads-up for those interested in the WristClean stuff -- they're running their March sale atm.

NOTE: I have zero affiliation with the brand.

I use a Q-tip, Cotton tip or cotton bud as we call them in Australia dipped In soapy water and then a wipe with a small section of old cotton t-shirt

Very soft toothbrush or other with a dot of washing up liquid, keep away from crown and pushers, quick rinse under the cold tap with crown down, dry and admire.
