For sale is a stainless steel c-shape Constellation with a linen dial. The watch dates to 1969. If you haven't seen these linen dials in person, they're mesmerizing (see embedded video), and this one is nice condition. The case is unpolished but has some scratches and dings. The chronometer-rated 751 caliber movement runs, winds, and sets well, but there appears to be some rotor rub so a service is recommended. See below for additional details. Price is $600 + PP fees. I'll cover insured US shipping and un-insured international shipping. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Dial: Beautiful original linen dial is in nice condition. There are some small marks near the center pivot and a couple specks of dirt/dust around 11-12, otherwise it's very nice. Tritium lume plots are all present but have slight discoloration. Hands are original with Tritium fully intact. Case: Original c-shape case is unpolished with sharp bevels and original brushing visible on bezel and sides of the case. There are scratches at 2, 4, 8, and 10 where someone tried to improperly remove the bezel. There is also a ding on the lower-right lug. Medallion is in very nice condition. Case back has one scratch from a poor attempt at opening the case back. Crystal: Crystal has scratches around the edges that could be buffed out. There are also two chips on the side of the crystal near 3 (likely related to the bezel mishap), and a small mark on the inside of the crystal at 2. Movement: Original caliber 751 movement runs, winds, and sets well. Quickset date functions as expected. There is some rotor-rub on the inside of the case back so a service is recommended. Service history is unknown. Strap: 19mm brown Toscana genuine lizard strap with quick-release pins is in nice condition. It was new before I took the photos for this listing.
