Hello all, I often catch myself peering outside the confines of the Omega Boutique and admiring JLC Reversos and various Cartier Santos and Tanks. I really like the way that these case shapes fit on my wrist. I have my great-grandfather's old square Hamilton that I occasionally wear but I prefer to keep it safe in my watchbox. It got me thinking that Omega seemingly has a large void in their offerings in regards to square or rectangular case shapes. It seems like the Deville or Constellation lines could easily incorporate a classy non-circular watch. Does anyone else feel the desire for a modern square/rectangular Omega? Have there been any recent releases or announcements regarding square or rectangular case shapes? Here's a quick photo of the referenced Hamilton:
That design reminds me of the Glashutte Original Seventies, which is a gorgeous watch. Pass this onto Omega HQ!
Here's my 70's Constellation, TV dial. Perfect size and thin relative to current Omegas. These are roughly about $1500 US and are very unique looking.
