Well if its on the internet then it must be true.
Not on the internet, that picture is a photo of page 232 of "100 Superlative Rolex Watches" by Goldberger, the reference also appears in most other Rolex reference books.

what do you think of Squale Tiger?

It is one of the watches that I am thinking of adding to my collection.
However, I am not sure if it will have enough wrist time.

Back on topic, the Squale 30 ATMOS "PEPCI" GMT Ref. 1545PEPG is now back in stock around the web's resellers, specifically Gnomon.

I've been wanting to try a good quality Pepsi GMT homage for some time. Years ago, I had an Alpha which was as rough as a badger's rough bits and only lasted about an hour on the wrist before I sold it to my colleague. To be fair, he's still wearing it and it keeps good time.

Up a quality level from the Alpha, the Steinhart is appealing and they are well regarded across the fora as being great value for money, selling out quickly when the latest batch arrives. However to my eye, there's always been something too chunky about the case styling. Despite having similar dimensions, the Squale appears to be ever so slightly more svelte and closer in appearance to a 16710 which is clearly it's progenitor and my favourite Rolex GMT.

Until news of the PAN-AM model hit the boards, I wasn't even aware that Squale offered a Pepsi GMT. So I saw with delight that they offered just what I was looking for, at a comfortable price point and without the Steinhart's chunkiness. Gnomon were out of stock when I looked but the in-stock text alert came in today, so the button was pressed and I'm looking forward to it!
