Are there any members of the forum who are fans and actually considering buying one? In my opinion I would rather drop another $1,500 and get a maroon bezel Tudor Black Bay. I know TGV is enamored with Squale for their history, brand prestige, etc but I am not sure I can swallow the blue pill. I know at the end of the day he is just another vehicle of marketing and a very popular one at that (I can't lie I watch his videos), but these watches don't speak to me. Just curious what you guys think.

Not a fan. I had a few squales and while it's got a good history, I find this model to be particularly ugly.

Tudor Black Bay every time, escpecially the maroon bezel, lovely watches and great value.

I quite like Squale, but I don't like this. Good for him and his pride of designing a watch, but there's very little design for me, just a very personal choice of his family crest, a grey dial which I would swear it's in fact blue and a bezel colour that doesn't look right with the orange hand.

Hate the nonsensical name Lion-Shark also.

Nothing personal against the blogger, just not sure who on earth else would want a youtube bloggers family crest on the dial of their watch.

The orange minute hand does not match the red bezel. Saw his video on this, like the no date choice though... All in all not for me...
