    Tension and stress from a flexy NATO strap can pop the springbar's out.

    For this reason I use non flanged bars when using NATO on an expensive watch, as I'm wearing my ST right now infact with a new NATO(which looks perfect to my eyes, will post some pics tomorrow).

    Only neg is you need to cut them to remove them, but they're cheap enough.

    I avoid these problems, and those of scratched casebacks by simply avoiding NATOs!

    I really like using it with my 16600 - I have a dozen different patterns. I have a "protector" on my caseback which I remove regularly when cleaning, etc.:)
