Hi!

Anyone have and experience with these?

https://delugs.com/collections/watc...elet-removal-tool?_pos=3&_fid=a8280e0f9&_ss=c

I have a pair of Spring Bar Pliers and tweezers, yet I continue to struggle with installing any bracelet on my watches. Oddly, I do enjoy the struggle bc it makes the satisfaction of hearing that "click" of engagement even more satisfying, but I would like some help. I'm sure there are some "operator issues", but before I spend more money looking for the perfect spring bar removal tool, I thought I would check with you all here.

Thanks!!

I find the best tool is a good bergeon 6767. All the fancy pliers etc are over complicated and imo make it harder to remove/install on vintage bracelets with folded Endlinks where the cut outs to access the shoulders of the spring bars aren’t always perfect.

No idea about these but I've got a pair of Horotec tweezers. As with @Davidt, I find a Bergeon 6767 is much easier to use. The only exception is a watch where you can't rock the end links enough to release one side at a time.

A Bergeron 6767 with fine tip, taped lugs and good lighting, plus a positive outlook, will do the job.

I use a loupe as well so that I can see what I am doing. You don't want to just blindly jab the tool around

Thanks for all the replies! So the Bergeron 6767, even with a metal bracelet?

+1

And good lightning.

I use a homemade bronze tool(dont scratch the steel) to take the bracelet off and a caseback knife to install.

I'll have to try that. I didn't think i could 'lever' it in (if that's even what you call it) since the metal end links don't flex like any other material.
