I can add that Giverny is lovely to deal with too, though I don't know what she looks like.

For our german members: if you have friends in the UK, use them and let them forward into Germany/Austria/whatever EU country is desperate for taxes...... have watchco do the following..... sender MUST be a private name. not a company like watchco. declare cases and dials and whatever as:" metal replacement part for warranty repair. " and have them marked on the shipping paper as" returned goods " for warranty repair, coming from Germany and going back now as replacement. the value should be plausible; use A$ 125. customs has no idea about empty parts/cases. then you have to pay 20% on the A$ 125 as GST/VAT and they include the postage as well. easy to do, but you must tell watchco in writing, that it is your own risk.
Kind regards, Achim
.......The UK version is the easy one; shipment between commonwealth countries get rarely ever stopped.

This is clearly a redial馃槈
It reminds me of when my CD player was stolen out of my car and I printed out a picture of a 5 button AM radio and installed it in my dash.

If watchco doesn't come through with my case I may end up having to sell my dial and parts馃檨

Hm the price of the sm 300 case looks crazy now. 5 years ago i paid it 700 euros. By the way, isn't the original date disc black? Glad I kept one aside a few years ago at less than 1000 euros. I'm going to assemble it 馃槣 as well as 2 baby ploprof

Yes the date disc was originally black disc with white numbers, also the disc should be flat and not curved.

I'm kicking myself for not buying an SM300 case a year or so ago when I was ready to build my 565 SM300, prices were ok at that time. Anyway I built myself a great watch from a 166.073 case and really like the difference from my 552 SM300

Hi Pascs,

I can't find a flat disc anywhere. I have a silver one but I don't find that correct. The curve of the disc can hardly be seen anyway. The sm 300 dial is a bit weird on the 120 case but not ugly.

I think ebay seller abouttime-ch (watchco) and watchadoo have the flat black disc at quite a high price but it was still available from Omega a while back
