·Oh geez. So I live in the dead center of a Midwestern city surrounded by lakes and we get a lot of spiders. Generally only baby spiders bite (and that’s generally rare) and it’s late the season for that anyway. If you’re on the ground floor and suspect spiders then “diatomaceous earth” is the thing to google. Good luck. Also, this thread was hilarious to read through!

·I feel your pain. I had a White Tail here in Australia bite me a few times behind my knee while I was sleeping. Got infected like a MFer, weeping pus etc. but it calmed down after a few weeks of antibiotics.
I just imagined him nibbling on your leg to get your attention: "excuse me, sir, but have you seen my mom?"
