    Dear omega experts,
A month ago I've bought my first speedy with ref starting with 45. So according to my research it dates from 84. However the bracelet that comes with it is a 1479/812 which was used from 88 to 96 according to this Chart:

    https://issuu.com/mstanga/docs/tab_bracciali_omega_ultima.xls

Do you think this bracelet is not the original that came with the watch?

    Thanks a lot!

Can you provide photos of the underside of the clasp that are in focus?

Do you know the full serial number of the watch? If so throw it into ilovemyspeedmaster.com to see if that comes back with what you expected.

I know this isn't what you're asking about but the bezel of your watch is a later reference too - for speedies made in the1990's. That being said, it could be that this watch had been sent in for a service to Omega sometime in the 90's. That would explain the later bracelet, the later bezel, (and what looks like newer hands).

    Hope this helps.

Unfortunatly the picture that I took from the inside doesn't have a very high quality, so I can't realy read the full serial number. But I will go again to the seller and ask him to re-open so I can take the number.

About your comment, thank tou very much. It is very kind. In fact I'm tring to find as much as I can about the watch... The seller told me that is all original, but the hands they always look newer to me, special because the lume didn't aged as per the dial. But about the bezel, why do you also think is newer as well?

The chronograph seconds hand is incorrect for this model, be it a 80's or not.

In my opinion the hands aren't newer than the dials: they seem rapainted and relumed.

The spear shaped / drop counter weight Chrono seconds hand only appeared on models for period 1963/64-1969 which included 105.002-62, 105.003-63 to 65, ST 145.003, 105.012-63 to 66 and 145.013-67 & 68. Therefore impossible, IMHO, that a 80's Speedmaster can be correct with this Chrono seconds hand.

Bezel is a B6. Dot Beneath 70 - Style 2 from 2004. The dial however looks like a C3. with spaced T's and Tall and Open S used from 1977 to 1990.

PhiIN, first of all thank you very much for your detailed analysis. In fact, I did my research before buy it, but there are so many details on this watch that for a newer like me got really difficult... Now I feel kind bitter sweet with this, meaning I really like the watch and was on my wish list for too long, but now I have an example that is completely inconsistent (chrono hand from 60's, dial from from 70-80's, bracelet form 90's and bezel from 2000!). Based on this I must assume that the 3k that I paid for it was too high!!!
