Omega did not surprise us with the introduction of a new Speedmaster Snoopy, but they surely did so with the watch itself. Although we already brought you the initial news about the Speedmaster Snoopy in BaselWorld, we now show you the watch again using our own photos instead of press pictures and some additional information we received. I thought it would also be nice to have the new Omega Speedmaster Professional Silver Snoopy Award pictured side-by-side with the Snoopy Award model of 2003. Just to be sure, I’ll also throw in the ‘real’ Apollo XIII commemorative model that Omega released […]

My local boutique is already taking deposits. Looks awesome in the photos. Love the fact that Snoopy glows.

Only 1970 made and selling for $6250 USD - seems like a bargain. I really can't believe I just typed this.

Wager lunch that within days of first retail sales we see one on ebay for at least $8500 USD.

The "failure is not an option" is the coolest thing on this watch but the whole watch is something else with its detailing.

Can't wait to see it in the flesh, and I'd have to agree that this will keep it's value down the line. With all the improvements they probably could've charged $1000 more and it would've sold like hot cakes.

Went to the boutique to put a deposit on the Snoopy. Was told the price is 7350.00US. I questioned this since the announced price per Fratello was 6100 Swiss Francs (about 6300US). Has anyone been able to get a price of 6300 or so? If so, what boutique did you go to?
Thanks for your input.

Sounds like Omega's currency calculator is broken... not particularly happy to see that 6100 CHF has now become $7350 USD. Maybe I'll fly to Switzerland and buy it there 😁

If you watch the A Blog to Watch video from Baselworld (from March 20), they give the US price at the end...$7350. Rare that there is a direct conversion in prices between markets.

Wow, I think they killed it with that watch. Beautiful touches with the 14 seconds on the front and moondust on the back.

Beautiful watch. Wouldn't the enamel wear down over time though?

Wow, full payment. That is badass. No doubt they have no problem with folks gladly dropping $7.3k for a watch they will see 6 months later.
