Where do you guys get the timing from? Am I missing some info?

I don’t think it will reference the Ultraman at all. The red is wrong and the black stripe down the hand does suggest something new for a Speedmaster. I just hope to god it isn’t a tribute to the BMW Art Cars. That is to say a dial splattered with paint in the style of Jackson Pollack with a go faster stripe on the hand. That sounds a bit pants. If it is an M Power themed dial, I guess we can also expect a lot of dark and light blue to make up the 3 colours of the badge but I think and hope it’ll be something more subtle than that. The BMW thing could be a Red herring of course (see what I did there?). I too think some kind of Racing Dial variant is likely. If it is to do with the Art cars, IMO the Jeff Koons one is just about tolerable and may be the best (see the e92 M3 below). Some of the others not so much.

Omega launches are at 12.00 CEST ie current local Bienne time. Work backwards or forwards from this to your own time zone and voila.

 

I'm agreeing it’s a 1968 mash-up as surmised by @nurseford25: black or grey racing dial and Ultraman hand, but in red. If so, hope they put it in the FOIS or 60th Anniversary case.

I'd take it up in a heartbeat if they put it in the 60th case.

 

It's actually Noon GMT/UTC +2, since both the UK and Europe are on Daylight Saving/Summer time. The isn't a note about it, it is when the last Speedy Tuesday was released so it is just an educated assumption based on that and I think I saw RJ justify the timing in one of the threads when he was asked about it by some disgruntled Californians.

Asia is fine, its 5,6,7 pm in most of the major population centres of Asia at 12 CEST. It was the US West Coasters who moaned the most as for them it is/was only 3am.
