Man, you had a quicker experience than me! I had this idea as soon as I reserved ST2 and then about a month later I just decided to reach out to JR about it. I knew they could do it. What I didn't expect was all the back and forth! BTW, are you in Atlanta by chance? I have to ask with that username. If so, fellow Atlantan here as well. 😀

I'm from Atlanta, a Grady Baby to be exact lol but I haven't lived there in over 20 years. All my family still live in the area but me, I'm in Europe.

Ah, nice. No wonder you dealt with Agnes directly. Eventually, that's who the NYC boutique consulted. Can't wait to get it in! I've got the OEM Silver Snoopy 45th anniversary strap on my ST1 now and I love it. I may need to get a second deployant!

I have an Omega deployant on all three of the watches pictured. I think it's the only way to go.

I absolutely agree. Their deployant is great and I've got it with my Silver Snoopy strap. The debate is buying another one so I don't have to swap them out. With your first two watches, the deployant came with it. At least it did with your Snoopy. 😀

Greetings. I have been lurking here on the forum since I ordered my 60th Anniversary Speedy in March of 2017. I apologize in advance for any faux pas contained in this post since I am not a social media person. Thank you for all the information I have been able to glean from the forum during my time here. I have a bit of good news for someone on the waiting list for the Speedy Tuesday #2. I decided not to purchase the Ultraman that I reserved even though it is a very cool watch. The OB was quick to point out that the watch would go back to Omega for someone on the waiting list. I elected not to purchase because: 1) I didn't think it would get much wrist time competing with my 60th Speedy and my Jaeger LeCoultre for dress, 2) I didn't love the blob and 3) my daughter is getting married on Saturday. My hope is that someone on the forum gets Number 1725!

Today the 1st of December all the Ultraman was supposed to be delivered to the customers - all 2012 (just what I heard). But it seems that Omega is delayed (again) an still need to deliver some. The question is - how many? I dont think it´s a lot.

So if we look at the price development it seems, that we have bottomed out and the prices have reached a level a little above the "official" sales price. So what can we expect of the prices for the next 6 months? I think we will see a price increase around 3-5% just like we saw on ST1.

What do you guys think?

The Ultraman currently stands at £6,492 on Chrono24. I very much doubt prices will drop further but will actually increase markedly for this piece as the supply quickly dries up.
